Psychiatrists and Psychologists
Patients will be consulted by their treating psychiatrist and psychologist in hospital as mutually agreed upon by the patients.
A patient will be referred to a social worker in order to enhance their individual and collective well-being, if required.
A team of occupational therapists forms an integral part of the group therapy program at Bloemcare.
Occupational therapy is a patient-centred approach concerned with promoting health and well-being. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life.
If patients experience physical pain caused by stress and tension, their psychiatrist will refer them to a physiotherapist. The physiotherapists will arrange appointments with the patient and will treat them in their rooms or at the physiotherapist’s surgery at offices@bloemcare.
Patients with special dietary requirements may be referred to a dietician. Appropriate special meals will be served for these patients during their stay at Bloemcare.
A qualified biokineticist offers training sessions in the Bloemcare gym from Mondays to Fridays, between 07h30 and 08h00. Patients can be referred to a biokineticist to assist them with an exercise program for specific needs.
